Six leading experts combine to offer a diverse range of techniques, approaches and topics at this year’s Dental Update 2019 event. In total, fourteen exhilarating hours of CPD event sessions across the two days will provide an exceptional opportunity to hear from six keynote speakers, each bringing their expertise, approaches and points of view.
The Dental Update events provide key updates from leading experts of differing multidisciplinary fields each year to offer dentists an overview of new modalities, an update on underlying concepts and improvements in treatment strategies.
Professor Chris Peck, Dr Anthony Mak, Dr Barbara Woodhouse, oral surgeon, Professor Ian Meyers OAM, Professor Florian Mack, prosthodontist and Dr BillKahler, endodontist combine to present the DU201.
Day 1 will see Dr Anthony Mak discuss the topics of digital dentistry, from the single unit to the full mouth rehabilitation, and thereafter a second session on bonded aesthetic restorations in the anterior dentition. Managing patients with impaired jaw function is challenging and Professor Chris Peck will detail current concepts and approaches in the opening session. Optimal root canal preparation and obturation, the endodontic biofilm and regenerative endodontics will be considered by endodontist, Dr Bill Kahler.
Oral Surgeon, Dr Barbara Woodhouse is due to present the opening session on Day 2, detailing tips and tricks for Oral Surgery in clinical practice. conference was phenomenal with many owners implementing the ideas learnt on the following Monday.
Approaches for managing patients with a compromised dentition will be presented by Prosthodontist, Professor Florian Mack. Professor Ian Meyer OAM will review Restorative options for cracked, fractured and fragile teeth and in his second session will elaborate on restorative management approaches for the ageing patient.
